Vercors Natural Park

The Vercors is a limestone massif located in France, near Grenoble, in the Rhone-Alpes region, whose highest point is 2,341 m. Its orography is varied. It forms a plateau that rises above the plain suddenly without transition.

From 200 meters of altitude of Royans bed to 2341 meters of the Grand Veymont, all levels of alpine life are represented here.

Besides, there is a transition location between the Northern and Southern Alps. All this gives an exceptional vegetable wealth to the massif (over 1,800 species) and exciting wildlife, dominated by some spectacular species such as ibex, chamois, grouse, large raptors and even mouflon.
